Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) has announced its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026, delivering performance ahead of its stated guidance, supported by record cargo volumes and strong growth across its logistics and marine businesses. For FY26, the company recorded a 25 percent increase in revenue, driven by total port cargo volumes reaching 500 million metric tonnes. The growth reflects consistent execution and the strength of its integrated business model, even amid geopolitical uncertainties and global trade disruptions.

Domestic port operations continued to contribute significantly, with revenue rising 13 percent year-on-year to ₹25,755 crore. The company maintained a strong position in container handling, with a market share of 45.5 percent. EBITDA for the year increased to ₹18,849 crore, reflecting a 14 percent growth, while margins remained robust at 73.2 percent.

International operations also delivered strong results, with annual revenue increasing 34 percent to ₹4,539 crore. Quarterly performance was particularly notable, supported by operational ramp-up at key assets and expansion in overseas markets. Profitability improved significantly, driven by higher utilisation and operating efficiencies.

The logistics segment emerged as a key growth driver, with revenue rising 55 percent year-on-year to ₹4,478 crore. This growth was led by scaling up of asset-light trucking services and expansion of international freight operations. Marine services also recorded substantial gains, with revenue increasing 134 percent to ₹2,681 crore, supported by fleet expansion and long-term contracts.

As of March 31, 2026, APSEZ’s domestic port capacity stood at 653 million metric tonnes, while its marine fleet expanded to 136 vessels. The company continues to strengthen its “shore-to-door” logistics capabilities, integrating port operations with rail, road and warehousing services.

Commenting on the performance, Ashwani Gupta, Whole-time Director and Chief Executive Officer, stated that the results reflect the resilience of the company’s operations and its ability to deliver consistent growth despite external challenges. He noted that the company is building a strong platform to support long-term expansion, including plans to reach one billion tonnes of cargo throughput by 2030.

APSEZ also maintained a stable financial position, with net debt to EBITDA at 1.9 times. The company undertook capital optimisation measures, including bond buybacks, and continued to invest in capacity expansion. Capital expenditure for the year stood at ₹15,320 crore. The Board has proposed a dividend of ₹7.5 per share for FY26, subject to shareholder approval.

With operations spanning multiple ports, logistics assets and international markets, APSEZ continues to play a key role in strengthening India’s trade infrastructure. The company remains focused on expanding capacity, improving efficiency and supporting the country’s growing logistics and supply chain requirements.
