AION-Tech Solutions Ltd, a publicly listed technology-driven company, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Theoremus AD, a Bulgaria-based global specialist in multimodal transport coordination. The partnership aims to jointly develop and deploy advanced urban mobility solutions tailored for Indian cities.
As part of the initial rollout, the partners will launch First–Middle–Last Mile (FMLM) mobility pilots in Telangana and Karnataka. These pilots will focus on demand-responsive electric vehicle feeder services linked to high-density metro and bus routes. The objective is to enhance network connectivity, improve fleet efficiency, and increase service dependability while contributing to cleaner and more sustainable urban transport systems.
Commenting on the collaboration, Chanakya Bellam Radhakrishna, Director, AION-Tech Solutions Ltd, said “This partnership represents a significant milestone in our vision to create smart, interconnected, and scalable mobility frameworks for Indian cities. By combining Theoremus AD’s international experience in transport orchestration with the operational strength of our subsidiaries, ETO Motors and ROQIT, we aim to meaningfully improve first–middle–last mile connectivity and deliver tangible sustainability benefits.”
The collaboration will centre on deploying a multimodal transport orchestration platform at city and state levels. The platform will bring together metro rail systems, bus services, EV fleets, parking infrastructure, and urban mobility datasets into a single operational environment. Leveraging AI and advanced analytics, the solution will support demand prediction, optimisation of EV usage, congestion mitigation, and real-time visibility for transport operators and government authorities.
During the pilot phase, electric vehicle fleets will be connected to real-time data and analytical tools to enhance route planning, charging schedules, and service design. Success will be evaluated using performance metrics such as ridership growth, geographic coverage, asset utilisation, and reductions in carbon emissions.
Hristo Popov, Chief Business Officer, Theoremus AD, said “India presents one of the world’s most vibrant and complex urban mobility landscapes. Working with AION-Tech Solutions allows us to adapt our platform to local conditions and demonstrate, through real-world pilots, how coordinated data, AI-led optimisation, and EV integration can deliver measurable impact at scale.”
Execution in India will be led by AION-Tech’s group companies. ETO Motors will be responsible for deploying and managing EV fleets for the FMLM pilots, while ROQIT will provide digital platforms, command dashboards, and real-time monitoring tools for cities and transport agencies. The partnership will operate under stringent data protection, cybersecurity, and India-compliant data residency standards to ensure secure information sharing among multiple operators.
Following the pilot phase, the partners intend to work closely with state transport undertakings, metro rail corporations, and urban development authorities to expand the solution to additional cities. Planned engagements include TSRTC, HMDA, and HMRL in Telangana, along with BMTC, BMRCL, and DULT in Karnataka. The goal is to establish repeatable and scalable models aligned with India’s Smart Cities Mission and long-term sustainable mobility objectives.
