Aerodata AG, a Germany-based provider of advanced aviation solutions, and Dynauton Systems®, a division of Dynamatic Technologies Limited, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development of an unmanned airborne surveillance and reconnaissance system tailored for the Indian region.

The agreement outlines a strategic framework for combining the technological strengths of both organizations to create a next-generation Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform. The collaboration is centered around Aerodata’s modular AeroForce® X system, a Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial system designed for extended missions with a flight endurance of up to 40 hours and the ability to carry high payloads.

AeroForce® X is engineered for integration with advanced mission systems, making it well-suited for complex ISR operations across diverse terrains, including maritime and high-altitude environments. Under the terms of the MoU, the two companies will jointly assess opportunities to adapt and enhance the platform to meet India’s specific operational requirements.

Dynauton Systems® will contribute its engineering and manufacturing capabilities in unmanned technologies, while Aerodata AG will bring its extensive experience in airborne surveillance system integration. The collaboration is expected to result in a solution capable of addressing critical surveillance needs in regions such as the Himalayas and the Indian Ocean.

Neset Tükenmez, Chief Executive Officer of Aerodata AG, stated that the agreement represents a significant step toward advancing the AeroForce® X platform through a focused partnership. He noted that combining complementary expertise would support the development of high-performance unmanned systems designed for demanding ISR missions.

Udayant Malhoutra, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Dynamatic Technologies Limited, highlighted the importance of the collaboration in leveraging an established platform to build a future-ready solution for surveillance and reconnaissance applications.

The partnership reflects a broader trend of international cooperation in defence and aerospace innovation, with both companies aiming to create scalable and technologically advanced unmanned systems. The initiative is expected to open new avenues for innovation while strengthening capabilities in mission-critical applications.

Dynauton Systems® was established in 2023 as a deep-technology venture focused on unmanned systems and security solutions. Its parent company, Dynamatic Technologies Limited, operates across multiple sectors, including aeronautics, hydraulics, metallurgy, and security, with manufacturing and engineering facilities in India and Europe.
