The project is supported by a Master Supply Agreement with Hithium for the supply of up to 1 GWh of LFP battery cells.

The Gangad facility forms part of a larger integrated manufacturing complex of approximately 150,000 square metres along the Ahmedabad–Dholera Expressway. Planned capacities include 12,000 km of high-ampacity conductors, 2.5 GWh of BESS assembly and 300 MW of alkaline electrolysers. The complex will also include PEM fuel cell manufacturing, stringing tools and Emergency Restoration Systems. Phase I is targeted for commissioning in Q4FY27, with full commercialisation expected by mid-2028.
