Addverb, a global robotics and industrial automation company, has completed a decade of operations, marking ten years of innovation in warehouse automation while unveiling ambitious plans to advance into humanoid robotics and Physical AI. The milestone reflects the company’s evolution from an automation solutions provider into a technology-driven organization focused on shaping the future of intelligent machines.
As part of its next phase of growth, Addverb is preparing to launch Elixis, a walking humanoid robot designed for industrial environments. Scheduled for introduction later this year, the platform is being developed to perform repetitive, physically demanding, and potentially hazardous tasks across logistics, manufacturing, and warehouse operations. The company aims to deploy 3,000 humanoid robots in industrial facilities by 2030, supporting broader adoption of AI-powered automation technologies.
Earlier this year, Addverb introduced Elixis-W, a wheeled humanoid robot developed and manufactured in India for industrial applications. The launch represented a significant step in the company’s efforts to build advanced robotics capabilities domestically while addressing the growing demand for intelligent automation solutions.
Over the past decade, Addverb has expanded its manufacturing and engineering capabilities significantly. The company now has the capacity to produce up to 100,000 robots annually and serves customers across India, North America, Europe, Asia, and other international markets. Addverb reported revenue of ₹800 crore in FY 2024–25 and is targeting revenue exceeding ₹1,400 crore by FY27 as demand for automation technologies continues to accelerate globally.
Reflecting on the company’s journey, Sangeet Kumar, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Addverb, said, “The last ten years have been dedicated to building advanced robotics and automation technologies from India for global markets. Our focus has expanded beyond warehouse automation to include Physical AI, intelligent systems, and humanoid robotics capable of operating alongside people in dynamic environments. We believe the coming decade will redefine how industries adopt and benefit from intelligent machines.”
Addverb’s growth mirrors India’s emergence as a hub for advanced manufacturing and technology development. The company has built long-standing relationships with leading organizations across sectors including consumer goods, retail, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Its automation solutions are used by businesses seeking to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and accuracy across complex supply chain environments.
Founded in 2016, Addverb develops end-to-end automation systems that combine robotics, software, and material handling technologies. With manufacturing operations in India, research facilities in India and the United States, and a growing international presence, the company continues to strengthen its position as a contributor to the global robotics industry while advancing India’s role in next-generation automation technologies.
