ACME Venus Urja Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has secured long-term project funding of ₹3,892 crore from the State Bank of India (SBI) for the development and construction of a 400 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in Barmer, Rajasthan. The financing has a 19-year repayment period, marking ACME’s largest funding from SBI and the bank’s first investment in an FDRE project.

The project is contracted with NHPC at a tariff of ₹4.64 per unit. It will integrate solar power generation with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to enhance dispatchability and ensure reliable supply in line with the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This hybrid model strengthens grid stability while meeting growing demand for round-the-clock renewable energy.
