As EMO Hannover 2025 comes to an end, Ahire Machine Tools Private Limited (AMT) celebrates a landmark moment in its journey from a modest Nashik workshop to the world’s biggest stage for production technology. This year was not just another edition of EMO, but the golden jubilee of the world’s leading trade fair for production technology, and AMT was proud to step forward as an exhibitor for the very first time.
For more than fifty years, EMO has been a bridge between ideas and markets, enabling the transfer of knowledge and technology across continents. That bridge has been particularly significant for India, where entrepreneurs have built enduring connections with European leaders and brought cutting-edge expertise into India’s fast-growing machine tool market. For AMT, founded in 1982 by Nishikant Ahire, participating as an exhibitor at this historic edition was the culmination of decades of persistence, pragmatism, and partnerships.
The journey began with a simple vision to create practical and reliable work holding solutions for Indian workshops. In its early years, AMT gained recognition for precision machine vises and accessories, steadily building trust among OEMs and manufacturers across India. Over time, it grew into a trusted “Make in India” partner, representing six German companies and eventually manufacturing for them as well. Alongside its sister companies, Machine House India, focused on vibration isolation, and Globetech, delivering precision component manufacturing, the AMT Group today offers solutions that cover the entire shop floor.
At EMO Hannover 2025, the company unveiled its advanced range of workholding technologies to a global audience. The highlight was the EZ Series of modular clamping solutions, featuring wedge clamps, lateral clamps, step clamps, and parallel vises. Designed for precision, efficiency, and repeatability, the EZ Series allows manufacturers to easily handle multiple and complex workpiece shapes, offering flexibility for 3-axis, 5-axis, and HMC machining. Visitors at Hall 5, Booth B60 also had the opportunity to experience AMT’s vises and clamping columns for VMC and HMC machines, as well as machine levelling elements that ensure accurate and stable foundations for high-performance machining.
Beyond the products, what truly made AMT’s participation special was the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with visitors from around the world. The company connected with manufacturers eager to explore sourcing partnerships for workholding solutions, while also gaining valuable insights into emerging global manufacturing trends. For AMT, EMO was not just about showcasing products but about building relationships and sharing knowledge.
Reflecting on the successful debut, Chairman Nishikant Ahire said, “Participating at EMO Hannover for the first time is a milestone for us. It has given us the platform to showcase the strength of Indian engineering on a global stage, while also learning from international peers and sharing our innovations in workholding technology. This experience strengthens our belief that Indian manufacturing is ready to play a larger role in shaping the global future.”
The presence of AMT’s leadership and technical experts at the booth added to the richness of the experience. Together, the team brought a mix of leadership, technical expertise, and customer-focused engagement that left a lasting impression on the global audience. For AMT, EMO Hannover 2025 has been a turning point that symbolises how far the company has come and how ready it is to expand its global footprint. From a humble workshop in Nashik to the golden jubilee of the world’s most prestigious manufacturing fair, AMT’s story is one of pragmatism, partnerships, and progress. As the company returns home from Hannover, it does so with renewed confidence, stronger global ties, and a vision to continue delivering superior workholding solutions that make clamping easy for manufacturers worldwide.
