Laser Technologies concluded its participation at the 14th edition of TAGMA Die Mould India International Exhibition 2026, held from April 21 to 24 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai. The company’s stall at Hall 2, Booth F06 saw consistent footfall across all four days, with die and mould manufacturers, toolroom professionals and production engineers stopping in to explore what laser-based repair and welding can do for their operations.
For a company built around solving one of the most pressing problems in active toolrooms, Die Mould India 2026 was the right platform at the right time. Mould failures are an everyday reality in die and mould manufacturing. Flash, parting line damage, gate wear and surface deterioration are problems that every toolroom deals with, and the traditional answer has always been time-consuming, heat-intensive and often imprecise. The conversations at Hall 2, Booth F06 reflected a community that is actively looking for a better way.
Laser Technologies brought its full application capability to the floor, with live demonstrations covering flash elimination, parting line repair, gate modification and surface build-up on injection and die casting moulds. Visitors saw firsthand how laser welding addresses these challenges faster and with significantly less heat distortion than conventional repair methods, extending mould life and reducing unplanned downtime without compromising the integrity of the base material.
The company’s service model drew as much interest as the technology itself. With a field service team of more than 27 engineers across India and a response time of under two hours, Laser Technologies is built to support toolrooms when they need it most, not just during business hours and not just at the point of sale. That depth of service resonated strongly with manufacturers who understand that a repair solution is only as good as how fast it shows up when something goes wrong.
Dr Rakesh Agarwal, Founder and Managing Director, Laser Technologies, said: “Die Mould India gave us four days of exactly the conversations we value most. Toolmakers who came to the stall with specific repair challenges, real downtime problems and a genuine interest in understanding what laser technology can do for their production. What stood out this year was the level of awareness in the room. India’s die and mould community is no longer asking whether laser repair works. They are asking how to integrate it into their shopfloor. That is a meaningful shift and it tells us the industry is ready for what we have built.”
Founded in 2011 by Dr Rakesh Agarwal in Navi Mumbai, Laser Technologies has spent fifteen years making advanced laser solutions accessible to Indian manufacturers across die and mould, aerospace, medical and industrial applications. With over 1,000 customers across India and a growing field service network, the company is positioned to support the next phase of India’s toolmaking evolution.
