Incosteam International Private Limited will return to Boiler India, the exhibition for the country’s boiler and steam industry, taking place from October 8 to 10, 2026, at CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre, Mumbai. The company will make its fourth appearance, having participated in every edition so far. At Boiler India 2026, Incosteam will showcase two new products along with a digital steam monitoring solution that brings digital technology into traditional steam engineering. All five members of its core team will also be present, bringing decades of experience in steam engineering and industrial applications.
The company is about three and a half years old, while the experience of its founders goes back several decades. “The core team is five people, and together they have almost 150 years of experience in steam engineering and industrial applications,” said Indira Rajput, Director and co-founder. Each member has worked for more than three decades in the field. Two women entrepreneurs are also among the co-founders, including Indira, who has built her career across engineering companies over the past 30 to 35 years.
Born and brought up in Pune, Indira studied at St Joseph’s Convent before completing a commerce degree and an MBA from Symbiosis. Alongside her professional career, she has also worked with women in villages and small communities, training and empowering them out of personal passion. Her professional and personal experiences have kept her closely connected with people’s requirements and have also influenced her approach to building Incosteam.
The company was founded after its promoters spent years working in engineering companies and understanding the challenges faced by customers. Rather than simply supplying equipment, they wanted to understand the problem first and then work towards a suitable solution. Indira describes this philosophy simply: “We focus more on understanding the customer’s actual problem, and then we try to give them the right solution.” Incosteam now serves almost all industrial verticals, with a portfolio that includes steam traps, valves, pressure reducing and desuperheating (PRDS) stations, condensate recovery pumps and separators. Its work also extends to improving the performance of the overall steam system.
Improving steam-system performance has brought energy efficiency into the company’s work. Incosteam conducts steam assessments and uses its products to help customers identify areas where steam and energy are being lost. The company is now adding a digital layer through its digital steam monitoring solution, introduced only two months ago. At Boiler India, visitors will see the integration of digital technology with traditional steam engineering through Incosteam’s association with Brenpower and Brenpower’s patented technology. Data from products and customer systems will be analysed to identify areas of steam and energy loss.
“This is the first time we are showing this at Boiler India,” Indira noted, as the company prepares to demonstrate the digital solution alongside its steam engineering capabilities. The showcase will give visitors an opportunity to see how digital technology can work alongside traditional steam engineering and how data can help in understanding steam and energy performance. Along with the digital showcase, Incosteam will introduce a control valve and a vortex flow meter. The two additions reflect the company’s response to changing customer requirements and the conversations it has had across different industrial applications.
Customer conversations have played an important role in shaping these developments, with Boiler India providing a regular platform for those discussions. For Indira, the value of the exhibition goes beyond meeting delegates. “It is one platform where so many people and so many delegates come and meet us. But what is more important is that people come and discuss the actual challenges they are facing.” At every edition, the team has listened to these conversations, recorded the feedback and taken those requirements back into its product development work.
The expanding portfolio is also leading to the next phase of Incosteam’s own growth. With the number of products increasing, the company plans to expand its existing setup during the current financial year. Looking ahead, Indira said, “That is our plan in this financial year. We will be expanding to support the growing number of products we have added and to create more capacity for our next phase of growth.” Alongside this expansion, Incosteam plans to continue investing in technology, market reach and customer service, guided by its tagline, “Conserving Energy, Preserving Tomorrow.”
For Incosteam, the next phase will continue to be shaped by what it hears from the industry and how those requirements translate into practical solutions, with new products, digital monitoring and expansion becoming part of its growth while the focus remains on understanding steam systems as a whole. For Indira, the long-term objective is to make Incosteam “a very trusted steam engineering partner, not only a product supplier.” Boiler India 2026 will bring these developments together, from the new control valve and vortex flow meter to the digital steam monitoring solution, while giving the team another opportunity to meet customers, exchange ideas and understand emerging requirements across the boiler and steam industry.
