Suraj Limited, ten years in will return to ADIPEC 2026, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, running from 2 to 5 November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The Ahmedabad-headquartered manufacturer has exhibited at the show every year since 2016, and this edition will showcase a wider range than the one it built its name on: seamless pipes, tubes, flanges and fittings.

Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and an ADIPEC exhibitor since 2016, Suraj Limited manufactures stainless steel and carbon steel seamless tubes, pipes, fittings and flanges for the oil and gas, power, chemical and process industries, exporting to more than 70 countries worldwide. Ahead of ADIPEC 2026, Head of Business Development Dixit Shah on forward integration, oil-free furnaces, and why end-user approval decides business in the Gulf

That range is wider by design. “We started as a pipe and tube manufacturing company, thirty years ago,” said Dixit Shah, Head of Business Development at Suraj Limited. “But it is no longer like that only. Over the last ten years, we have moved into forward integration. Now we are making flanges, we are making fittings, and we are into carbon steel also.” Multiple plants now operate under the Suraj name, he said, each built around one of these product lines, with the newer ones engineered differently from the start. “We are completely oil-free for our flanges product, for our fittings product,” Dixit Shah said. “The furnaces are completely electricity-based, induction furnaces.”

For ADIPEC and the wider Middle East market, the pitch is deliberately consolidated. “The products which we are mainly focusing on in this Middle East market are pipes, tubes, flanges and fittings,” Shah said. “We are a one-stop solution for any EPC company.” “When it comes to the Middle East, when it comes to companies like ADIPEC, certification is something which is very important. We are approved almost everywhere; more or less ninety-nine percent of the end-user organisations are covered”, added Dixit Shah.

Dixit Shah pointed to ADNOC and Dubai’s DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) among the approvals Suraj holds, alongside major utilities and oil companies across the GCC. The distinction matters, he explained, because Suraj’s orders often route through EPC contractors, but the product itself is ultimately qualified against the end user’s own standards. “That order is going to the end user, so approval is a must there,” Dixit Shah said.

Those approvals build on a track record assembled over close to two decades. Suraj’s Duplex and Super Duplex seamless pipes and tubes, made since 2008 for high-pressure, corrosive and subsea conditions, carry DNV approval under Norsok M-650 (2013) and approval from Engineers India Limited in special Duplex and Super Duplex grades (2016). In 2017, the company supplied Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest integrated oil and gas company, an order it counts among its most prestigious to date.

ADIPEC 2026 ranks among the world’s largest gatherings for the oil, gas and wider energy industry. The 2025 edition drew more than 205,000 participants, including a single-day record of over 70,000 visitors. Machine Maker, covering ADIPEC on the ground for a fourth consecutive year, is the show’s Official Media Partner from India and will track Suraj Limited’s participation, along with that of other Indian exhibitors, through pre-show, on-ground, and post-event coverage.
