The die & mould industry is entering a phase where expectations are sharper than ever. Tighter tolerances, faster delivery cycles, and increasing cost pressures are redefining how toolrooms operate. As TAGMA Die & Mould India 2026 approaches, Jyoti CNC Automation is preparing to address these evolving demands with a focused display of advanced machining solutions.
In a conversation with Machine Maker, Mr Vikas Taneja, President – Sales, Jyoti CNC Automation, reflects on how both the company and the industry have evolved together.
“Our association with TAGMA spans nearly 20 years. Over this time, we’ve seen the industry move from conventional machining to high-precision, multi-axis manufacturing. We’ve been part of that journey, including the 2024 edition, and each year, our goal is to stay aligned with where the industry is headed.”
At Hall 6, Stall B-03, Jyoti CNC will present a portfolio centred around die & mould-dedicated technology, with a strong emphasis on 5-axis machining. “The requirement today is clear, manufacturers need to handle increasing complexity while maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency,” he explains. A key highlight at the pavilion will be the GU FIVE, a gantry-moving 5-axis machining centre, supported by a lineup of advanced VMCs. The machines will be showcased through live demonstrations, allowing visitors to observe performance under optimised cutting conditions. “This gives visitors a real sense of machining behaviour, surface finish, and stability in actual operating environments,” Mr Taneja adds.
The Jyoti CNC pavilion will also feature machines from its French subsidiary, Huron, reflecting the company’s global technological integration. “It brings together international engineering expertise and strong indigenous manufacturing capabilities, which is central to how we deliver value to our customers.” From an application standpoint, Jyoti CNC’s machines are designed for critical die & mould operations, including cavity machining, die machining, electrode manufacturing, and complex geometry finishing. As component designs grow more intricate, these capabilities continue to gain importance. At the same time, manufacturers are navigating multiple pressures simultaneously. “The challenge lies in addressing tighter tolerances, shorter lead times, and rising costs without compromise,” says Mr Taneja.
Jyoti CNC’s approach has been to engineer solutions that integrate performance across parameters, balancing complexity, machining speed, surface finish quality, and operational efficiency. With the growing adoption of 5-axis machining and automation, the company is further strengthening its position in enabling next-generation toolrooms. “Our ecosystem combines advanced 5-axis machines with indigenous automation solutions, allowing manufacturers to scale capability while maintaining control over productivity and cost,” he notes. For Jyoti CNC, TAGMA continues to serve as a key industry platform to demonstrate real-world applications of its technology. “It’s where we connect engineering with on-ground manufacturing needs and showcase how our solutions perform in practical scenarios.”
Looking ahead, Mr Taneja sees the Indian die & mould industry moving steadily towards a high-precision, digitally integrated future. “Speed to market and accuracy will be the defining factors. As pioneers in 5-axis CNC technology, we have developed a wide range of solutions aligned with these emerging requirements.” The message for visitors remains clear:
“Jyoti CNC is your partner in achieving global standards through indigenous innovation. Your toolroom can deliver any complexity, meet any deadline, and compete with the best in the world with Jyoti Machines.”
As Jyoti CNC prepares to engage with toolrooms, OEMs, and manufacturers across sectors, its presence at TAGMA 2026 reflects a singular focus, enabling the industry to meet its next set of challenges with confidence. Witness this in action at Hall 6, Stall B-03, Bombay Exhibition Centre, from 21st to 24th April 2026.
