Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd (BCSSL) (BSE: 539607), a leading provider of AI-led enterprise and cybersecurity solutions, has successfully completed and received formal sign-off for a 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) Proof of Concept (POC) with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) at the MINDI Exchange in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Working alongside Orange Business Services, BCSSL has enabled an enterprise-class 5G FWA deployment by introducing an innovative Broadband Network Gateway (BNG)-based subscriber management framework—marking a first for BSNL’s 5G initiatives in India.
The deployment moves beyond conventional tunnel-based approaches such as GRE, adopting a BNG-driven architecture that supports carrier-grade subscriber authentication, dynamic IP allocation, Quality of Service (QoS) enforcement, and direct integration with BSNL’s billing and AAA systems. This design aligns with large-scale ISP and enterprise broadband requirements by offering native session management, policy control, and operational scalability, ensuring readiness for commercial rollout. The solution establishes a strong, standards-compliant foundation for BSNL’s next-generation broadband services and sets a benchmark for future nationwide 5G FWA deployments.
The POC was executed under real-world field conditions and validated the complete 5G ecosystem, including access network, core, radio, and customer premises equipment (CPE). All defined performance parameters—such as throughput, latency, jitter, session establishment, and connection stability—were successfully tested and met the required key performance indicators. The deployment demonstrated seamless interoperability across QuadGen RAN, HPE Core, and BSNL’s transport, BNG, and AAA platforms, confirming the solution’s scalability and commercial readiness.
The project was closely supervised by BSNL’s technical teams, who formally approved the POC following successful completion of all planned test cases. In its sign-off statement, BSNL confirmed stable performance, KPI compliance, and successful 5G PDU session establishment with PPPoE-based billing integration through the BNG, marking the conclusion of the POC.
