Vibhor Steel Tubes Limited (VSTL), a Haryana-based manufacturer of steel tubes and value-added steel products, has won multiple new contracts aggregating ₹18.87 crore for the supply of metal crash barriers. The orders have been placed by three separate customers, reflecting strong demand for the company’s highway safety solutions.
The company has received a contract valued at ₹7.92 crore from Veda Metallics, along with an order worth ₹7.43 crore from YNM Pan Global Trade Private Limited. An additional ₹3.52 crore order has been awarded by Surich Industries. The contracts involve the supply of metal crash barriers, which are widely used on highways, bridges, and high embankments to absorb impact and redirect vehicles, thereby reducing the severity of road accidents in high-risk zones.
The latest order wins follow the commissioning of Vibhor Steel Tubes’ greenfield manufacturing facility in Sundargarh, Odisha, earlier this year. The new unit, with an annual capacity of 1.56 lakh metric tonnes, began commercial production in June and has since started supplying crash barriers, power transmission line towers, and electric resistance welded (ERW) and galvanized (GI) pipes. The Odisha plant was developed with an investment of ₹119.83 crore and is equipped to manufacture a range of value-added products, including high mast lighting poles, octagonal poles, monopoles, and transmission infrastructure components.
Commenting on the development, Vijay Kaushik, Chairman and Executive Director of Vibhor Steel Tubes, said that demand for specialized steel products has been rising steadily across infrastructure and engineering segments. He added that the commissioning of the Sundargarh facility positions the company to meet this demand more effectively and expand its market presence. According to him, the new crash barrier orders reflect customer confidence in VSTL’s product quality, delivery capabilities, and operational efficiency.
With the Odisha facility now operational, Vibhor Steel Tubes’ total installed manufacturing capacity has increased to approximately 377,000 metric tonnes per annum, spread across three plants located in Maharashtra, Telangana, and Odisha. The expanded footprint is expected to support future growth across infrastructure, power, and transportation projects.
On the financial front, the company reported a 60 percent increase in standalone net profit to ₹1.42 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, compared to ₹0.89 crore in the corresponding period last year. Standalone operating income for the quarter rose by 19 percent to ₹281.76 crore, up from ₹236.09 crore a year earlier.
Vibhor Steel Tubes manufactures a wide range of steel products, including ERW pipes, hot-dipped galvanized pipes, hollow sections, primer-painted pipes, and infrastructure components. The company also has a long-standing contract manufacturing relationship with Jindal Pipes Limited and supplies finished products under the “Jindal Star” brand, which currently contributes more than 80 percent of its total turnover. With over two decades of industry experience, Vibhor Steel Tubes continues to strengthen its position as a key supplier to India’s engineering and infrastructure sectors through capacity expansion, product diversification, and a focus on consistent quality.
