Jost’s Engineering Company Limited announced its financial performance for the second quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. The company reported lower sales and profitability, primarily due to the postponement of certain orders to the next quarter.

For Q2 FY25-26, standalone revenue stood at ₹4,776 lakh, marking a 19% decline from ₹5,887 lakh in the same quarter last year. EBITDA fell 56% to ₹299 lakh, while PBT dropped 67% to ₹188 lakh. PAT was down 70% to ₹123 lakh. On a half-year basis (H1 FY25-26), standalone revenue declined 21% to ₹8,779 lakh, EBITDA decreased 54% to ₹553 lakh, PBT was down 73% to ₹278 lakh, and PAT fell 76% to ₹183 lakh.

On a consolidated level, Q2 revenue slipped 13% year-on-year to ₹5,418 lakh, while EBITDA decreased 47% to ₹459 lakh. Profit before tax dropped 74% to ₹190 lakh, and profit after tax stood at ₹82 lakh, down 84%. For H1 FY25-26, consolidated revenue was ₹11,022 lakh, an 8% drop from ₹11,940 lakh in the previous year, with EBITDA down 43% to ₹842 lakh, PBT down 80% to ₹247 lakh, and PAT lower by 84% at ₹139 lakh.

Despite the subdued performance, Jost’s technical services and spares segment registered growth, with service revenue rising 5% year-on-year to ₹1,840 lakh. The company continues to provide a wide range of services, including installation, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance, supported by 10 branch offices nationwide, NABL-accredited labs in Mumbai and Kolkata, and a technical support center in Bengaluru.

Commenting on the results, Jai Prakash Agarwal, Chairman, said, “Both Q2 and H1 of FY25-26 have been soft in terms of sales and profitability; however, we remain focused on execution, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. With an order book of ₹21,274 lakh as of September 30, 2025, and a strong business pipeline, we expect a stronger performance in the second half of the year.”
