Numeros Motors, a cutting-edge manufacturer of indigenous electric vehicles, has partnered with Perpetuity Capital, a rapidly growing NBFC focused on EV financing. This collaboration aims to provide tailored financing options to consumers, offering competitive interest rates and flexible repayment plans to make electric vehicles more affordable and accessible. Thanks to this partnership, Numeros’ newly launched Diplos Go is available with a down payment starting as low as INR 15,499.

Consumers stand to gain a range of benefits from the newly announced partnership between Numeros Motors and Perpetuity Capital. The initiative is structured to provide financial ease for buyers, including access to loans with low-interest rates. This makes electric vehicles more affordable and within reach for a broader section of the population.

The collaboration further offers consumers the advantage of minimal down payments, reducing the upfront financial burden typically associated with purchasing vehicles. This allows riders to transition to electric mobility without heavy initial costs, encouraging greater adoption of clean transport options.

Another significant benefit is the promise of instant loan approvals. This quick turnaround not only saves time for customers but also ensures a smooth buying process, minimizing delays and enhancing the overall purchasing experience for first-time EV buyers.

Flexibility is another cornerstone of this financing program, as consumers will be able to choose customizable loan tenures. This means that riders can select repayment schedules that suit their financial situation, making the switch to electric vehicles more practical and personalized.

Additionally, tailored EMI plans are part of the offering. These plans are designed with the rider’s specific usage and income levels in mind, helping to make monthly payments manageable and aligned with individual needs. Such consumer-centric financing is key to fostering long-term EV ownership.

According to S Ramkumar, Vice President of Numeros Motors, the alliance with Perpetuity Capital is expected to dismantle financial barriers that have historically discouraged consumers from adopting electric vehicles. He expressed optimism that this tie-up, combined with the company’s upcoming product launches for 2025, will significantly enhance retail growth and clean mobility adoption.

Perpetuity Capital’s Co-Founder, Karan Dhillon, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that both companies share a vision for a more sustainable future. He pointed out that offering green financing solutions that support electric mobility is essential in accelerating India’s transition to cleaner transportation alternatives.

Adding to its momentum, Numeros Motors has launched the Diplos Go—a multi-utility e-scooter targeted at the commercial mobility sector. Equipped with a 2.5 kWh battery featuring liquid immersion cooling, the vehicle is designed for durability, performance, and safety. Priced competitively at INR 84,999 (ex-showroom Pune), the Diplos Go builds on the success of India’s largest EV pilot test by Numeros Motors, which covered 13.9 million kilometers and demonstrated the scooter’s reliability across various terrains.

The scooter also features integrated safety systems, durable components, and smart connectivity, making it a standout offering in the electric two-wheeler space. Numeros Motors is rapidly expanding its sales and service presence across India. With operations in 14 cities, the company plans to onboard 100 dealers and cover 50 cities by the end of the FY 26-27.

Founded in 2019 by Shreyas Shibulal, Numeros Motors is a Bangalore-based Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specializing in the design and production of electric two-wheelers. The company has already achieved the milestone of completing India’s largest-ever pilot test, covering 13.9 million kilometers. Building on this achievement, the Diplos platform was launched, offering a variety of variants across two distinct platforms.

Numeros Motors holds over 300 intellectual property (IP) rights, with 113 granted. The company operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Narasapura, Bangalore, with an annual production capacity of 70,000 units. The company is actively expanding its network of distributors and sub-dealers across India, now present in 14 cities, with plans to grow further.
