HCLTech, a global technology solutions provider, has announced a strategic partnership with Astemo Cypremos Ltd, a software and cloud services subsidiary of Astemo Ltd, focused on enhancing next-generation automotive technologies. This collaboration aims to drive progress in the development of autonomous and intelligent vehicles by advancing software-defined vehicle (SDV) capabilities.
Under this multi-year alliance, HCLTech will support Cypremos in shifting to a software-centric development model. By utilizing its proprietary platforms and engineering expertise, HCLTech will deploy a full suite of solutions tailored to fast-track innovation across autonomous driving and connected vehicle ecosystems.
At the core of the collaboration is HCLTech’s TestSphere, an advanced software testing framework that reduces reliance on physical hardware and accelerates validation timelines. In addition, AI Force, HCLTech’s AI-driven transformation suite, will be used to enhance software reliability and improve overall system performance. The company will also implement Cloud Bridge, a smart cloud engineering platform offering scalable, multicloud testing environments designed to support rapid development cycles and robust system checks.
“We are excited to partner with HCLTech to address the increasing complexities of software development in the automotive sector,” said Takeshi Mitamura, President and CEO of Cypremos. “This partnership reflects our shared focus on advancing the transition to software-defined mobility using cloud-based technologies and intelligent systems.”
Masayuki Nakayama, Senior Vice President and Country Head – Japan at HCLTech, added, “Our collaboration with Cypremos signals a major step forward in transforming the automotive technology landscape. Through the integration of advanced platforms and our strong engineering capabilities, we aim to deliver safer, more intelligent, and future-ready mobility solutions.”
The alliance is expected to positively impact millions of end users in over 150 countries. Early-stage pilots have already shown reduced validation cycle times and improved efficiency, reinforcing the long-term potential of the engagement.
