Kothari Industrial Corporation Ltd (KICL), a diversified Indian enterprise, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BEEAH Tandeef International Investment Ltd, a UAE-based firm, to explore business initiatives in Tamil Nadu, according to a senior official. The agreement lays the groundwork for a joint consortium that will pursue opportunities in environmental protection, waste handling, waste-to-energy initiatives, and related industries.
BEEAH Tandeef is a part of the BEEAH Group, a UAE-based leader in eco-friendly and sustainable services. “We are excited to formalize our association with BEEAH Tandeef, a company known for its excellence in managing waste,” said KICL Executive Chairman and Managing Director Rafiq Ahmed. “This collaboration allows us to broaden our outreach across borders and deliver long-term, practical environmental solutions,” he added in a press release issued on Saturday.
The MoU was officially signed on June 4, 2025, with Rafiq Ahmed and Fahad Ali Shehail, CEO of BEEAH Environment, exchanging the signed documents. Under the partnership, both firms will combine their strengths in technology, operations, and marketing to introduce effective and forward-looking waste management systems. The pact also includes provisions for joint participation in public sector bids and infrastructure projects, particularly in Tamil Nadu, and aligns with the Indian government’s ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission.
