Enlight Metals, a metal sourcing and supply company based in Pune, has achieved a key milestone by reaching over 200 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) within its first year of business. Launched in 2024, the company works with major clients such as Tata Motors, Eicher, and JCB, offering a wide range of mild steel materials.
Its product line includes flat products like hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils and sheets, galvanized sheets, as well as structural steel such as beams, channels, and plates. After building a strong presence in Maharashtra, Enlight Metals is preparing to expand its footprint across other regions. The company is targeting ₹400 crore in revenue for the financial year 2025–26.
“Our aim from the start has been to bring speed, reliability, and transparency to metal sourcing,” said Vedant Goel, Director at Enlight Metals. “Reaching over 200 customers so early confirms that the model works. Going forward, we’re focused on expanding our reach and offering a wider range of products.”
To improve service delivery and customer experience, the company recently introduced a digital platform for procurement. This system allows manufacturers to request quotes, place orders, and handle payments through a single interface. It includes features such as automated invoicing with GST integration, batch-level traceability using QR codes, and a live dashboard for shipment tracking. These tools have helped the company maintain an on-time delivery rate above 95%.
Enlight Metals is working toward ISO certification as part of its focus on quality and operational efficiency. The firm is known for its reliable supply chain, clear communication, and customer-focused service. Looking ahead, Enlight Metals plans to add new materials such as alloy steel, aluminium, and copper to its inventory. It also intends to set up a dedicated unit for manufacturing automotive components and to roll out a full-scale digital procurement platform for industrial buyers.
