Bluebird Solar, a photovoltaic module manufacturer operating a 1.2 GW automated production facility in Greater Noida, has secured a supply order for 10 MW of 550Wp mono PERC monofacial PV modules. These modules are being provided to South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) for a ground-mounted solar power installation in Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh. To date, 3.8 MW of the order has been delivered through an established engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm based in Jaipur.
The installation features 18,181 high-efficiency PV modules, built for durability and consistent energy output. These modules are expected to provide clean and sustainable electricity for SECL’s operations and the broader Anuppur region. By transitioning to solar power, the project aims to reduce fossil fuel dependence, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and improve energy reliability for local infrastructure and communities.
Akshay Mittal, Director of Bluebird Solar, noted the importance of the project, stating that the Anuppur installation reflects the company’s focus on delivering efficient, reliable solar technology to advance national renewable energy efforts.
This solar deployment supports India’s renewable energy roadmap, contributing to sustainable growth in Madhya Pradesh. The 3.8 MW already installed is anticipated to enhance regional energy access and stimulate local economic activity, while showcasing the practical benefits of solar adoption.
