Rajratan Global Wire Limited (RGWL) has announced that its Board of Directors has approved the installation of new equipment to initiate production of wire ropes at the company’s Pithampur plant. This move marks a strategic expansion of the company’s product range by converting its current 12,000 TPA capacity of Black Wire into 10,000 TPA of Wire Rope.
The investment, estimated at approximately ₹50 crore, will be financed through a mix of debt and internal resources. With the Pithampur unit currently running at near-full capacity (95-100%) for Black Wire, this transition is both timely and aligned with market opportunities, as stated in the company’s filing to the stock exchanges.
Alongside this announcement, RGWL also reported its audited financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. The company posted consolidated operational revenue of ₹93,525 lakh, up from ₹89,045 lakh in the previous year. Net profit for the year came in at ₹5,880 lakh, compared to ₹7,184 lakh in FY 2023–24.
The Board has recommended a final dividend of 100%, or ₹2 per equity share, for the financial year 2024–25. This proposal is pending shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, with the meeting date to be disclosed in due course.
In a separate resolution, the Board approved the reappointment of Sanjeev Sood as an Independent Director for a second five-year term, effective from April 21, 2025, through April 20, 2030. Mr Sood brings over 40 years of experience in manufacturing and leadership roles and currently holds board positions with Birla Carbon (Thailand) Public Co. Ltd. and Aditya Birla Chemicals Thailand.
Headquartered in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Rajratan Global Wire Limited operates manufacturing units in both India and Thailand. The company continues to classify “Tyre Bead Wire” as its sole operating segment across both standalone and consolidated reports. The statutory auditors, M/s Fadnis and Gupte LLP, Chartered Accountants, issued unqualified opinions on the company’s audited financial statements.
