Vedanta Aluminium, the largest aluminium producer in India, made a strong impression at the ‘Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha 2025’ conclave, with an extensive display of its operations, cutting-edge technology, and social responsibility efforts. On the first day of the event, the company announced a fresh ₹1 lakh crore investment in Odisha, aimed at boosting the state’s industrial growth. The announcement was made by Vedanta Group’s Founder and Chairman, Anil Agarwal, whose leadership continues to drive the company’s long-term commitment to Odisha’s development.
At the event, Vedanta Aluminium showcased its contributions to employment, education, and infrastructure, helping transform Odisha into a key industrial hub. Visitors to the stall experienced interactive displays of the company’s products and its significant role in the state’s progress. The company also introduced its upcoming Aluminium Park, which is set to become India’s largest metals park. Spanning 253 acres, the park will serve as a central hub for downstream industries to utilize high-quality hot metal from Vedanta’s mega aluminium plant in Jharsuguda.
One of the highlights was the Nand Ghar zone, dedicated to Vedanta’s flagship CSR initiative, which includes 531 modern anganwadis, or Nand Ghars, across Odisha. The stall also featured products from local artisans, such as Dhokra art, Vedamrit Honey, and spices, along with live tattoo art by Saura artisans from Kalahandi, all of which are supported by the company.
