The company looks forward to showcasing its manufacturing prowess at this prestigious event, which highlights the state’s growing potential as a global manufacturing hub. Vedanta Aluminium is committed to supporting India’s vision of a developed nation by contributing to high-quality aluminium production for industries worldwide.

Visitors to Hall A-16 will get a chance to witness Vedanta’s cutting-edge manufacturing practices, sustainability initiatives, and community development projects. The display will feature interactive exhibits, live demonstrations of Odisha’s traditional handicrafts, and multimedia presentations that offer an in-depth look at the company’s operations.

Leading Vedanta Aluminium’s participation will be Anil Agarwal, Founder and Chairman of Vedanta Group, whose leadership has been instrumental in the company’s long-standing relationship with Odisha. Under his guidance, Vedanta Aluminium has played a key role in the state’s industrial growth, contributing nearly 3% to Odisha’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP).

With investments exceeding INR 1 lakh crore, Vedanta Aluminium’s projects, including the 3.5 MTPA alumina refinery in Lanjigarh and the 1.8 MTPA aluminium smelter in Jharsuguda, are among the largest in the world and play a pivotal role in transforming Odisha’s abundant bauxite reserves into high-quality aluminium for both domestic and international markets.

Beyond industrial expansion, Vedanta Aluminium’s social initiatives have made a lasting impact on the lives of millions in Odisha. Through projects like the establishment of 531 Nand Ghars—centers for women and child development—and skill training and microfinance programs benefiting over 10,000 women, the company has been at the forefront of promoting inclusive growth. The DAV-Vedanta School in Lanjigarh has significantly improved literacy rates in Kalahandi, helping open brighter prospects for children in the region.

The company’s dedication to healthcare is also notable, with mobile health units reaching remote areas to serve over 42,000 people and advanced healthcare facilities like the Vedanta Hospital in Lanjigarh, as well as diagnostic centers in Jharsuguda and Laikera, providing quality medical services. Additionally, initiatives focused on clean drinking water and agricultural support continue to improve living conditions in rural Odisha.

Looking ahead, Vedanta Aluminium is committed to expanding its operations while prioritizing sustainability. The company’s goal of achieving Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2050 or sooner demonstrates its dedication to responsible growth. By integrating renewable energy and championing sustainable practices, Vedanta Aluminium is setting new standards for green manufacturing and positioning Odisha as a global leader in this field.
