VOC Automotive, a prominent player in the automotive services industry, has launched its “VOC Technical Academy (VTA)” training program, offering participants the chance to gain essential skills in the automotive sector with a 100% job placement guarantee. The program is designed to train and employ 2,500 individuals who have completed at least a 10th-grade education.
Since its inception, over 600 participants from various regions across India, including Bihar, Odisha, East India, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, have already enrolled. Training sessions are held at VOC’s headquarters in Bangalore, where participants receive accommodation and meals as part of the program.
The majority of trainees have completed their education up to the 10th or 12th grade, with some having prior experience working in local garages but lacking formal training. The program offers two distinct courses: a 15-day intensive course for beginners and a 60-day comprehensive course for those with experience.
Both courses include accommodation, meals, and a guaranteed job placement. Upon completion, participants can expect starting salaries ranging from INR 8,000 to 15,000, depending on location. Venkatesh B M, CEO and co-founder of VOC Automotive, emphasized the importance of the program, stating, “We are dedicated to providing quality training and guaranteed job placements at our VOC outlets. Our goal is to address the critical shortage of skilled labor in the automotive sector, both in India and abroad.”
The program is structured into four categories: Beginner for general services, Bronze for bodywork, Silver for engine work, and Expert for electrical work. This ensures that participants receive targeted training based on their experience and career goals. VOC Automotive has partnered with 14 NGOs, Skill India, and other institutions to maintain a steady flow of trainees and job opportunities.
With plans to expand the training program to international markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, VOC Automotive aims to address global shortages in skilled labor. The company’s vision is to provide high-quality training and job placement services, helping individuals build successful careers in the automotive industry.
