Fabtech Cleanrooms Limited (formerly Fabtech Technologies Cleanrooms Limited), a turnkey cleanrooms and controlled-environments solutions provider, has reported strong financial performance for the half year ended September 30, 2026, with revenue from operations increasing 74.88% year-on-year to ₹133.23 crore. Total income grew 73.59% to ₹134 crore, while EBITDA increased 75.11%, profit before tax rose 53.28% and profit after tax grew 54.65% over H1 FY26.

The company enters the second half of FY27 with an order book of approximately ₹470 crore, more than double the ₹199 crore recorded on March 31, 2026, and the largest in its history. With execution weighted towards H2, management expects second-half PAT to exceed the H1 figure as milestones on larger projects are completed and billed.

Growth during the first half was broad-based, reflecting increased execution across pharmaceutical, data centre and solar projects, supported by repeat orders from existing customers. The company is also seeing an increase in order ticket sizes. In microelectronics, customers are placing larger orders as they expand capacity, while in life sciences Fabtech has secured a marquee single-ticket order worth ₹90 crore. The company is strengthening its team and capabilities to pursue larger, higher-value projects.

Its 60.20% subsidiary, Kelvin Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems, is expanding its HVAC business, with particular focus on data centres and turnkey cleanroom HVAC solutions for pharmaceutical and industrial customers. The growing adoption of AI and high-density servers is increasing cooling requirements, creating opportunities for specialised HVAC and controlled-environment engineering providers.

Fabtech is also strengthening its semiconductor presence through its 28% associate, AAR-T, which offers import-substituting T-Grid technology supported by specialised design and engineering capabilities. Despite aluminium price volatility and higher input costs, AAR-T and Fabtech have strengthened customer acceptance and industry positioning. The company is extending its reach into automotive, medical devices, electricals and electronic components, alongside its established pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare business and newer data centre and solar verticals.

EBITDA margin remained broadly stable at 7.67% in H1 FY27 against 7.60% in the corresponding period last year. PAT margin stood at 3.86% compared with 4.37%, reflecting higher aluminium and other raw material costs on projects contracted at fixed values, as well as competitive pricing in newer sectors to establish relationships with marquee customers. Higher volumes partly offset the input-cost impact.

Trade receivables stood at ₹129.10 crore as of September 30, 2026, reflecting higher execution and milestone-linked payments on strategic projects. The company expects improved order selectivity, pricing and commercial terms, alongside better working capital efficiency by March-April 2027. Enhanced banking facilities have also been secured to support the larger order book.

The hot order pipeline stands at ₹600 crore within a total offered pipeline of ₹1,250 crore. Management expects higher volumes in Q3 and Q4 FY27 to support margin recovery, with operating leverage and stabilising input costs contributing to a stronger second half. Manufacturing capacity is also being strengthened through the new Hyderabad facility.

Anup Manohar Munshi, Chief Executive Officer, Fabtech Cleanrooms Limited, said, “In H1 FY27, our revenue from operations grew by nearly 75%, and we enter the second half with an order book of around ₹470 crore – the strongest in our history. Order ticket sizes are rising, repeat orders are flowing and our hot pipeline stands at ₹600 crore. With Kelvin driving data centre orders, AAR-T opening doors in semiconductors, and new sectors such as automotive, medical devices and electronics coming into our pipeline, we expect higher volumes in Q3 and Q4 to recover margins and deliver a stronger H2.”
