Reliable cable systems are essential to oil and gas operations, where heat, chemicals, electrical interference and harsh environmental conditions can affect equipment performance. At ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi, Elegar Kerpen Kabel India will showcase its industrial cable portfolio, manufacturing capabilities and E-beam technology for demanding energy and process industry applications.
The exhibition will take place from November 2–5, 2026, bringing the company an opportunity to connect with energy companies, engineering teams and potential customers in the Middle East. Formerly known as LEONI Cable Solutions (India), Elegar Kerpen serves customers across more than 40 countries, with applications spanning oil and gas, process industries, transportation, solar and wind power, defence and OEM manufacturing. The company manufactures industrial cables at its facility in Chakan, Pune, with a focus on quality, environmental management and workplace safety. Its manufacturing setup includes equipment from Niehoff, Rosendahl, Stolberger and Queins. The cable range is produced to applicable IEC, BS, ASTM, EN, VDE, DIN, UL, MIL and RDSO standards, based on customer specifications.
At ADIPEC, the portfolio will include instrumentation and thermocouple cables for signal transmission and temperature measurement, along with ProfiBus and FieldBus cables used in industrial communication systems. The company also supplies power and control cables, railway cables and harnesses, solar cables, and naval and marine cables designed for applications involving saltwater, fire and mechanical stress.
For oil and gas applications, Elegar Kerpen will highlight its ALNYC cables, which feature a three-layer construction comprising laminated aluminium tape, an HDPE sheath and an outer polyamide sheath. This design provides resistance to hydrocarbons and harsh environmental conditions. Compared with traditional lead-sheathed cables, the construction offers advantages in flexibility, weight and corrosion resistance.
The company will also present its E-beam line with hybrid crossfire technology, which it describes as the first of its kind in India. The process cross-links cable materials to improve mechanical strength, temperature performance and service life. Visitors will also have an opportunity to learn about the company’s cable testing procedures, carried out during production and before dispatch to check compliance with relevant standards.
Elegar Kerpen combines German engineering practices with Indian manufacturing capabilities. The business took its current form following the acquisition of the Indian operations of LEONI Cable Solutions by the Kerpen Group, which has a history spanning nearly a century. The company describes its engineering approach as “German by DNA” and plans to expand production capacity while growing its sales network in India and international markets.
“ADIPEC brings together the people who are shaping the future of energy, so it is the right place for us to show what Indian manufacturing can offer. We are taking part to build new partnerships in the Middle East, understand what the region’s energy sector needs, and show that our cables meet global quality standards,” said Hemant K Mehta, Managing Director of Elegar Kerpen Kabel India.
Through its participation at ADIPEC 2026, Elegar Kerpen aims to build relationships with energy-sector customers and explore new business opportunities in the Middle East and other international markets. Its focus on specialised cable construction, E-beam processing and in-house testing reflects the role of manufacturing quality and application-specific engineering in supporting demanding industrial environments.
