Accuris has launched Accuris Connect, a platform designed to bring engineering standards, requirements and supply chain intelligence directly into the software systems and workflows used by engineering and technical teams. The platform has two offerings: Accuris Connect for Engineering Workbench and Accuris Connect for Supply Chain Intelligence. The first integrates standards and requirements into product lifecycle management (PLM) and application lifecycle management (ALM) systems, including Teamcenter, Windchill, Polarion and Codebeamer. The second provides access to verified component and bill of materials (BOM) data through application programming interfaces (APIs), widgets and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.
Claude Pumilia, Chief Executive Officer of Accuris, said the launch expands the company’s role in helping customers connect information, systems and decisions across the product lifecycle. He said the platform is intended to help businesses make better-informed decisions when designing, building and maintaining complex products.
Engineering teams often access standards outside their design systems, requiring them to search for documents and enter information manually. When a standard is revised or withdrawn, existing design records may not clearly identify the change. Establishing links between product requirements and the standards used to develop them can also require manual work during reviews and audits.
Accuris Connect for Engineering Workbench addresses these issues by creating managed records for standards within supported PLM systems. The records include the standard designation, applicable edition, publication status and a unique Accuris identifier. This creates a traceable connection between a design or requirement and the standard on which it is based.
The original standards remain accessible through Engineering Workbench, with existing access entitlements continuing to apply. Supported workflows also provide visibility into changes to relevant editions. Accuris said Engineering Workbench offers access to more than three million standards and regulations from over 1,000 standards organisations and content publishers.
Duane Newman, Chief Product Officer at Accuris, said the platform makes standards identifiable and traceable within engineering records, helping teams establish which edition applies and assess the effect of revisions. The supply chain offering enables businesses to incorporate current component, compliance, sourcing and risk information into their own applications. Accuris holds more than 1.3 billion component records and reports verified data accuracy of more than 98%. The company said the approach allows organisations to retain their existing systems as the primary records while accessing updated intelligence for component selection and BOM decisions.
Accuris Connect for Engineering Workbench is available for Teamcenter and Windchill and became generally available for Polarion and Codebeamer on October 6, 2026. Accuris Connect for Supply Chain Intelligence is already available through APIs, widgets and MCP.
