Every boiler house tells the same story. When steam is steady, a plant runs without a second thought, and when it is not, everything else slows down with it. Food, pharma, chemical and sugar units depend on that steam every single day, and with fuel costs rising and safety and emission norms getting tighter, the pressure on boilers has never been higher. It is against this backdrop that VR Boilers, based in Baramati MIDC, Maharashtra, is stepping into Boiler India 2026 for the first time. The company will be at Stall No. C274, CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre, Mumbai, from 8 to 10 October 2026. For a team that has spent its working life on plant floors, the expo is a chance to meet the wider industry face to face.
What they bring to Mumbai is the same thing that built the company: engineering that comes from real plant experience. The team will showcase its boiler designs, pressure parts, economizers and supports, and the engineers behind them will be at the stall to talk about efficiency, pressure ratings and what industry needs from its boilers today. That practical outlook did not come from a boardroom. It goes back to a small beginning in 1994.
That year, Rajaram Satpute started working in industrial boilers with very little and a firm belief that India could build world-class boilers. He took on the hardest jobs himself, from shoveling charcoal to later handling effluent treatment plants. Boiler operation, maintenance, repair and piping work followed, and each job taught him what plant owners really face on the ground. Over more than three decades, that small workshop has grown into a full industrial boiler manufacturing company, with Mr. Vivek Satpute joining as Director to carry the work forward. Those years of learning on the job are what shaped the company’s range of work today.
VR Boilers now builds Steam Boilers, Thermic Fluid Heaters, Hot Water Generators and Customized Boiler Systems for food, pharma, chemical and sugar industries. It also manufactures pressure parts, economizers and supports, and carries out repair, erection, commissioning, retrofit and annual maintenance work. More than 500 projects have been completed, and VR Boilers Operations & Maintenance Services now works across India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Africa and Europe. Recognition has followed, including the Maharashtra Business Award 2022, the Udyog Ratna in 2023 and the Export Achievement Award in 2024. Behind these numbers is one consistent habit that the company has never changed.
That habit is to stay with the boiler from start to finish. The same team designs, builds, installs and maintains the system, so there is one company and one point of responsibility from the first drawing to the last service visit. It is an approach that comes straight from the plant floor, where the team has seen what makes a boiler last and what makes it fail. This is also the thinking that will be on display at Boiler India 2026, and it is what the company wants to carry forward.
The road ahead is about widening that reach. VR Boilers plans to grow its presence in India and in overseas markets while keeping quality, safety and timely service exactly where they are today. Boiler India 2026 is the first time the company is presenting its work to an industry audience of this size, and it is seen as a chance to learn from the sector as much as to share with it. The aim has been the same since 1994: maximum performance with minimum downtime, and a boiler house where steam is the one thing nobody has to worry about.
