Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting has acquired Dermatouch, an Indian premium skincare brand focused on science-backed and concern-based products. The acquisition marks Wipro Consumer Care’s entry into India’s premium skincare segment and is its 18th acquisition globally and third strategic acquisition in 2026.
Dermatouch was founded by Anish Nagpal and Amit Purswani and has built its business around skincare concerns including pigmentation, acne, brightening and sun protection. Its portfolio includes face washes, soaps, serums, creams, moisturisers and sunscreens. The brand has built a presence through its direct-to-consumer platform, online marketplaces and an expanding offline retail network. Dermatouch reported revenue of ₹131 crore, approximately US$13.6 million, in FY2026, representing 114% growth over FY2025.
Wipro Consumer Care will acquire a 60% stake in Dermatouch at an enterprise value of ₹387.5 crore. The remaining 40% will be acquired over the next three years. Mr Nagpal, Mr Purswani and the existing management team will continue to run the business during this period.
Dermatouch has expanded its sales rapidly, from around 60,000 products a month two years ago to more than 60,000 products a day currently. The company has focused on skincare products built around active ingredients and efficacy for different skin types and concerns.
Kumar Chander, CEO, Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting and MD, Wipro Enterprises, said the acquisition was the company’s first foray into digital brands. “We have been clear that we would only look at Digital brands that have the potential to expand offline, which Dermatouch has already proven. The brand has earned significant consumer trust in a short span of time, and we see considerable potential to scale it further by combining its innovation-led approach with Wipro’s capabilities,” he said.
Anish Nagpal and Amit Purswani, Co-founders, Dermatouch, said the partnership would provide the company with access to Wipro’s distribution network and research capabilities as it expands. Sumit Keshan, Head of M&A, India and Managing Partner, Wipro Consumer Ventures at Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, said Dermatouch fits the company’s strategy of expanding in high-growth personal care categories.
The acquisition follows Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting’s recent acquisitions of Good Home and Eva from TTK Healthcare and S brands in the Philippines. Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting is part of Wipro Enterprises and operates across personal wash, toiletries, facial care, home care, electrical wire devices, lighting, seating solutions and foods. The business reported revenue of ₹10,800 crore in FY2025-26 and has more than 10,000 employees. More than 50% of its revenue comes from international markets, with operations across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and other developing markets.
