Rapidise, an India-based deep-tech Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), has announced the expansion of its manufacturing operations in Manesar, Haryana, as part of its three-year investment plan of around ₹200 crore. The expansion is expected to increase the company’s overall manufacturing capacity fourfold and support larger and more complex electronics programmes.

The company is setting up a 120,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Sector 8, Manesar, in addition to its existing 40,000 sq ft facility in Sector 3. The new facility will add Surface Mount Technology (SMT) capacity, automated manufacturing systems and digital production capabilities.

Rapidise has already installed a new dual-lane SMT line, taking its total component placement capacity to approximately 800,000 placements per hour. The new setup is designed to support production of complex printed circuit board assemblies, including server and AI boards. Connected manufacturing systems will also provide real-time production traceability across the facility.

Brijesh Kamani, Founder, MD & CEO, Rapidise, said: “Rapidise was built on bringing design engineering and manufacturing together. As we scale, we are building capacity ahead of demand so that infrastructure does not become a bottleneck to growth. The Manesar expansion gives us the manufacturing base to take larger and more complex programmes from design to volume production in India, while expanding our capabilities across AI hardware, networking and compute, defence and railways.”

The ₹200 crore investment will be deployed in phases, with part of the funds allocated to the Sector 8 expansion, installation of 10 SMT lines and further development of the manufacturing infrastructure. The expansion is expected to create around 1,000 direct and indirect jobs during FY27.

Rapidise currently manufactures products for automotive, consumer electronics, telecommunications, security and surveillance, networking and compute, healthcare and agriculture. Its capabilities cover product engineering, validation and mass manufacturing.

The additional capacity will allow Rapidise to support OEM programmes at higher volumes, covering product development through commercial production. The company also plans to expand its manufacturing opportunities in areas including networking, railways and defence.

Rapidise is headquartered in India and has a global presence across the USA, Europe and Japan. The company provides ODM services covering design, prototyping, certification, manufacturing and lifecycle support. Its team of more than 1,500 R&D engineers and production specialists works across electronics, embedded software, AI and cloud solutions for sectors including automotive, networking and compute, telecommunications, security and surveillance, Industry 4.0, IoT, healthcare and consumer electronics.
