Factrika, an on-demand industrial workforce platform, has raised ₹8.9 crore in a seed funding round led by Info Edge. The company, founded in July 2024, will use the funds to expand its team, strengthen its technology platform and enter more industrial clusters across India.
Factrika is addressing worker shortages faced by manufacturers through a real-time platform that connects companies with verified workers based on skills and availability. The company said Indian factories face a daily worker shortage of around 20–25%, with fragmented contractor-based staffing systems contributing to disruptions, higher costs and lost production.
Through its platform, manufacturers can identify and deploy workers within two hours. Workers accept shifts digitally, while Factrika manages attendance and payments and maintains a digital record of work experience and skills. The system is designed to support skill-based progression and help workers access higher-paying opportunities.
Factrika currently has more than 10,000 registered workers across over 20 skill categories. The company has reported a show rate of more than 90%, while deployment hours have been growing at 50–70% month on month. Its client base includes Lenskart, Munjal Kiriu, Asahi India Glass, Jubilant Foods, Epack Durables, PG Technoplast, Hanon Climate, Bidso and Talbros Auto Components. The company said workers can increase their earnings by 20–30% through skill progression.
The new funding will support hiring, technology development and cluster-led expansion. Factrika plans to strengthen its presence in Bhiwadi, Manesar, Bawal, Noida and Bahadurgarh as it targets the estimated $23 billion manufacturing workforce opportunity in India.
