The Supply Chain Solutions business of tk accelis, a global provider of materials, integrated supply chain management and logistics services, has completed a multimillion-dollar investment to expand its Bengaluru operations, strengthening its capabilities to support India’s rapidly growing aerospace manufacturing sector.
The investment has increased warehouse capacity and enhanced operational infrastructure at the company’s Bengaluru facility, while also creating new skilled employment opportunities in the region. The expansion comes in response to rising customer demand and increasing aerospace production activity in India, as global manufacturers continue to diversify their supply chains and seek greater resilience across their operations.
Located within the Bengaluru Aerospace Special Economic Zone, the facility supports aerospace manufacturers through material supply, processing, inventory management and advanced supply chain services. The company established its presence in India in 2015 and has since developed dedicated capabilities to support the material and logistics requirements of the aerospace industry.
Gopi Hanumanthappa, Managing Director, tk accelis Supply Chain Solutions India Pvt Ltd, said, “India is becoming an increasingly important part of the global aerospace ecosystem. This investment demonstrates our long-term commitment to the market and to our customers. Having pioneered dedicated aerospace materials management in India in the past, we are proud to continue investing in the country’s future.”
The expanded Bengaluru operation is designed to bring materials management, inventory services and logistics capabilities closer to aerospace production centres. This proximity can help manufacturers improve material availability, streamline supply chain operations and respond more effectively to changing production requirements.
The investment also supports tk accelis Supply Chain Solutions’ strategy of providing integrated supply chain services that combine materials expertise, logistics capabilities and digital supply chain solutions. By bringing these functions together, the company aims to provide aerospace customers with greater visibility and control across their material flows.
India has emerged as an increasingly important destination for aerospace manufacturing investment, with aircraft manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers expanding their sourcing and production networks in the country. Bengaluru, with its established aerospace and engineering ecosystem, remains a key centre for this activity.
The expansion of tk accelis’ Bengaluru facility positions the company to support customers as aerospace production volumes increase and manufacturers seek more robust and geographically diversified supply networks. The company said the investment reflects its continued focus on India as a strategic market and its commitment to developing infrastructure and capabilities aligned with the changing requirements of the aerospace industry.
