Autoline Industries Limited has secured a new business award from Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited for supplying components for SUV applications covering both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles. The programme is expected to generate annual incremental revenue of approximately ₹100 crore after the scheduled ramp-up. Actual revenue will depend on Tata Motors’ production schedules and component requirements.

The order marks a new addition to Autoline’s business with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and strengthens the Pune-based company’s position in the supply of components for SUV programmes. Autoline will manufacture and supply critical components for the identified SUV applications. The company said its manufacturing network, supported by automation, Industry 4.0 processes and data-based production systems, will support execution of the programme. The business award is expected to contribute to Autoline’s growth at Sanand and add to its existing work with automotive manufacturers.

Commenting on the development, Shivaji Akhade, Managing Director, Autoline Industries Limited, said the order reflects the company’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles’ confidence in its operations. “This business award reflects the strength of Autoline’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities and the continued confidence of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited in the Company,” Mr Akhade said.

He said the company’s focus would be on meeting quality, cost and delivery requirements while ensuring production capacity is ready as the programme scales up. Mr Akhade added that the order strengthens Autoline’s relationship with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and supports its strategy of growing through stronger relationships with vehicle manufacturers, advanced manufacturing and higher-value products.

The latest award also covers components for both ICE and electric SUV applications, giving Autoline an opportunity to participate in different vehicle powertrain programmes. Established in 1996, Autoline Industries is headquartered in Pune and manufactures automotive components for original equipment manufacturers and automobile companies in India and international markets.

The company manufactures sheet metal components, assemblies and sub-assemblies used in the automobile industry. Autoline has developed manufacturing capabilities aimed at meeting the requirements of vehicle manufacturers across different product categories. Its operations include engineering, tooling and production activities. The company said the Tata Motors award is part of its efforts to expand its OEM business and increase its presence in programmes involving new vehicle platforms.

The expected annual revenue addition of around ₹100 crore will depend on the ramp-up of the programme and actual customer requirements. Autoline said it remains focused on executing the new programme with attention to quality, cost, delivery and capacity. The company expects its manufacturing capabilities and production systems to support the requirements of the Tata Motors SUV programme as volumes increase. The order comes as automakers continue to expand their SUV portfolios across both conventional and electric powertrains, creating opportunities for component manufacturers with capabilities across multiple vehicle technologies.
