Ramco Systems has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Safran Helicopter Engines to enable direct integration of Safran’s engine data with Ramco Aviation Software. The partnership is aimed at simplifying maintenance data management for helicopter operators. Under the agreement, the companies will work to enable engine information generated after shop visits at Safran Helicopter Engines to flow directly into the Maintenance Information System (MIS) within Ramco Aviation Software.

The integration is expected to reduce manual data entry and help operators save time while improving the accuracy and consistency of maintenance records. The companies will work on automatically transferring engine configuration details, usage data and maintenance events into Ramco Aviation Software. They will also jointly assess data exchange formats and establish operating processes to maintain compatibility between the two systems.

The collaboration will support a direct and reliable flow of information between Safran Helicopter Engines and Ramco. It will also help Safran strengthen the digital services it provides to helicopter operators. As part of the cooperation, Safran Helicopter Engines is expected to award Ramco the EngineLife® Connect label. The label identifies connectivity solutions that are compatible with Safran Helicopter Engines’ products and services.
