Hexaware Technologies has appointed Vivek Jetley as CEO Designate as the AI-focused technology and IT services company prepares for its next phase of growth. Jetley will join Hexaware and take over as CEO on October 28, 2026. Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan, known as Keech, will step down as CEO and as a member of the Board of Directors on the same date.
Mr Keech has led Hexaware for 12 years and will remain with the company as Senior Advisor to support the leadership transition. Jetley brings more than 25 years of experience in AI and data, enterprise transformation and business strategy. He has worked with large global and Fortune 500 companies and has experience in building businesses, managing large profit-and-loss operations and developing new growth areas during periods of major technology change.
He currently serves as President at EXL, where he leads the Insurance, Healthcare and Life Sciences businesses. Before taking on his current position, Jetley was President and head of EXL Analytics. In that role, he built and led advanced analytics, AI services and enterprise data management capabilities for clients across industries.
Mr Jetley joined EXL in 2006 following its acquisition of Inductis, an analytics consulting company where he was a partner. During his time at EXL, he held leadership positions covering corporate strategy, partnerships, innovation and acquisitions. Larry Quinlan, Non-Executive Chairman of Hexaware, thanked Keech for his contribution to the company and said Mr Jetley brings experience in scaling businesses and building data and AI-led services.
Sandra Horbach, Hexaware Board Member and Chair of Americas Corporate Private Equity at Carlyle, also welcomed Jetley and said Carlyle would support him as he takes over the company’s leadership. Jetley said the IT services industry is entering a major period of change as AI alters how services are delivered and how businesses use technology. He said he sees an opportunity to help clients respond to these changes while building Hexaware into a leading AI-led services company. Mr Keech said it had been a privilege to lead Hexaware and work with its employees, clients and partners. He said he was proud of what the company had achieved and would support a smooth transition in his new advisory role.
