Renault India has expanded the Renault Kiger range with the introduction of four new variants across its Naturally Aspirated (NA) and Turbo petrol powertrains, making premium features and turbocharged performance more accessible to customers in the highly competitive B-SUV segment. With the latest update, the Renault Kiger Turbo is now positioned as one of the most affordable turbo-powered SUVs in its category, with prices starting at ₹7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has also introduced the new Evolution+ variant, priced from ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom), offering customers an attractive combination of premium features and value.
The expanded portfolio reflects Renault’s strategy of offering a wider choice of variants while improving accessibility to advanced technology and comfort features. The new Evolution+ variant is available across Naturally Aspirated manual and AMT options, as well as the Turbo manual version, creating a more comprehensive product range for customers with varying requirements.
The newly introduced variant comes equipped with several sought-after features, including a Smart Access Card with Push Start/Stop, Automatic Climate Control, Wireless Smartphone Replication, Driver Seat Height Adjustment and premium light embossed fabric upholstery. These additions enhance convenience, comfort and everyday usability while making premium equipment available at more accessible price points.
Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Renault India, said the expanded Kiger portfolio reflects the company’s commitment to making advanced mobility solutions available to a wider customer base. He noted that customer expectations continue to evolve beyond affordability, with buyers increasingly seeking enhanced performance, technology and convenience. According to him, the latest updates allow more customers to experience turbocharged performance and premium features without significantly increasing ownership costs.
Renault has also strengthened the Kiger’s turbo portfolio by increasing the number of Turbo variants from three to five. The Techno Turbo variant is now offered with a five-speed manual transmission, providing customers with an additional option that combines performance, features and affordability.
The Naturally Aspirated range has also been expanded from six to eight variants, giving buyers greater flexibility across different price points and equipment levels. The broader portfolio allows customers to choose a model that best matches their driving preferences, feature requirements and budget.
The Renault Kiger continues to distinguish itself with its bold SUV styling, spacious cabin, high ground clearance and practical features designed for Indian road conditions. The latest expansion of the model range further strengthens its value proposition by combining attractive pricing, modern technology and multiple powertrain options.
