Renault India has continued its strong growth trajectory, recording its ninth consecutive month of wholesale expansion in May 2026. The performance extends a sustained growth streak that began in September 2025 and highlights the company’s increasing traction in the highly competitive Indian passenger vehicle market.

Between September 2025 and May 2026, Renault India reported cumulative wholesales of 38,225 vehicles, representing a 46 percent increase compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. The consistent growth demonstrates the company’s ability to attract customers through a combination of product appeal, market outreach, and an expanding retail and service network.

The momentum remained strong in May 2026, with Renault reporting a 64 percent year-on-year rise in wholesale volumes. According to VAAHAN retail data, the company was also among only two passenger vehicle manufacturers in India to register positive retail sales growth during the month.

The latest performance reflects growing customer acceptance of Renault’s product portfolio and the effectiveness of its market strategy focused on delivering value, practicality, and customer-centric ownership experiences. The company has continued strengthening its presence across urban and rural markets while expanding access to sales and service support.

Industry observers note that achieving sustained growth over nine consecutive months is a notable accomplishment in a market characterized by intense competition, evolving customer preferences, and fluctuating demand conditions. Renault’s recent results indicate resilience and a strengthening position within the Indian automotive landscape.

The company has also focused on improving customer accessibility through a widespread network that includes dealerships, service centers, and mobile service initiatives. Its “Workshop on Wheels” program has expanded service reach into remote locations, helping improve customer engagement and after-sales support.
