Hical Technologies announced that its Managing Director, Yashas Jaiveer, is taking part in the India–Germany Defence Industry Roundtable currently underway in Munich. The high-level roundtable brings together senior government officials and industry leaders from both nations and forms a key component of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s official visit to Germany from April 21 to 23, 2026.
The visit highlights the steady expansion of strategic defence ties between India and Germany, with a focus on joint development initiatives, collaborative manufacturing, and long-term industrial partnerships. Discussions at the roundtable centre on strengthening bilateral security cooperation and exploring new avenues for defence collaboration.
During the visit, the Defence Minister underscored India’s shifting role in the global defence landscape, stating that the country is increasingly positioned as a partner in design and innovation rather than solely a procurement market. He emphasized that collaborative partnerships are essential to building resilient and future-ready defence ecosystems.
Speaking on the occasion, Yashas Jaiveer noted that India’s aerospace and defence sector is undergoing a significant transformation. He highlighted the country’s transition from a traditional build-to-print manufacturing base to a trusted partner in co-development and engineering-led solutions. According to him, platforms such as the Munich roundtable play an important role in fostering deeper engagement between Indian manufacturers and global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Mr Jaiveer added that Hical Technologies is well-positioned to support such collaborations through its focus on precision manufacturing, robust quality systems, and expanding build-to-spec capabilities. He emphasized the company’s commitment to contributing to sustainable Indo-German partnerships in aerospace and defence.
With more than four decades of manufacturing expertise and close to thirty years of export experience, Hical Technologies has established itself as a dependable partner for leading global aerospace and defence OEMs. Its participation in the Munich roundtable reflects its ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships and support India’s emergence as a high-value manufacturing hub in the global defence sector.
