Genesis Machining Solutions to Exhibit Dijet’s Productivity-Focused Cutting Tools at Moldex

As the industry prepares for the upcoming Moldex 2026 exhibition, organised by Messe Stuttgart at BIEC, Bengaluru-based Genesis Machining Solutions is gearing up to show how Japanese engineering can help local manufacturers improve their productivity and technical capabilities. This year’s Moldex exhibition marks an essential step for Genesis Machining Solutions, as the company participates as an exhibitor for the first time.

Genesis was established in 2020, and the team behind the company has more than 25 years of experience in the cutting tool industry. Over the years, they have been regular participants at major trade shows such as IMTEX and IMS. Their presence at Moldex reflects a focused effort to engage directly with the die and mould manufacturing community. In an exclusive interaction with Machine Maker, Anand Kutte, Managing Director of Genesis Machining Solutions, shares how Dijet, their Japanese principal, supported the decision to exhibit at Moldex.

Dijet has recently participated directly in an exhibition in Bangalore. The company felt that Genesis Machining Solutions, as its authorised distributor for Karnataka, was best suited to represent the brand at Moldex. For the Genesis team, the exhibition provides an ideal platform to connect with a specialised audience that works exclusively in mould and die manufacturing.

At the Genesis Machining Solutions booth, visitors will see a wide range of high-performance cutting tools designed to improve productivity on the shop floor. The focus this year is on helping manufacturers complete jobs faster while achieving better accuracy and surface finish.

The display will include fine-feed cutters, roughers, solid-carbide tools, and indexable solutions, with diameters ranging from 10 mm to 80 mm. Since Dijet is known for its fast pace of innovation and regular product launches, Genesis will also present the latest tooling solutions alongside their well-established, fast-moving products.

One of the biggest challenges in today’s mold industry is the use of much harder materials to increase mold life and output. While this improves durability, it also makes machining more difficult. Genesis Machining Solutions addresses this challenge by offering advanced tools capable of machining materials up to 70 HRC. As Mr Anand explains, “In the mold industry, the reare two most important things:to cut the mold at a very fast rate and with high accuracy. Without these two, we cannot compete in the world market.”

Operating in the Indian tooling market also means dealing with rising costs and global uncertainties. Since carbide powder is not produced locally, the industry depends on imports from countries such as Japan, Germany, and the US. This makes businesses sensitive to currency changes and material price increases. “Earlier, price changes were year-on-year, but now week-on-week changes are happening. Carbide prices have increased by almost 40 to5 0% compared to the USD,” says Mr Anand. Despite these challenges, Genesis believes that high- quality tools help manufacturers save costs by reducing machining time and increasing tool life.

For Genesis Machining Solutions, Moldex is not only about showcasing products but also about sharing knowledge and supporting the industry. As mould materials continue to get tougher and customers demand higher precision, the need for advanced tooling solutions becomes even more important. “The innovation in mould hardness and toughness has increased drastically. Because of that, providing a solution where you can manufacture or cut the material up to 70 HRC has become a very great challenge,” Anand Kutte adds.
