Amplitude Surgical (Amplitude), a wholly owned subsidiary of Zydus MedTech France SAS and part of Zydus Lifesciences Ltd, announced that its next-generation robotic surgical platform, “Andy,” has been granted CE Mark certification. This approval confirms that the system meets the European Union’s rigorous standards for safety, performance, and quality, marking a major milestone in the field of orthopaedic innovation.
Developed on Amplitude’s proprietary Amplivision navigation platform, Andy combines advanced robotic assistance with real-time navigation technology. The system was designed in collaboration with eCential Robotics, integrating imaging, navigation, and robotics into one seamless solution to assist surgeons with greater precision and consistency.
