Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co Ltd is expanding its local operations in Europe with greater focus on manufacturing, customer service, spare parts, technology development and digital capabilities. The company’s plans were discussed during a partner meeting held on August 19 at Zoomlion’s factory in Germany. The meeting brought together customers and business partners from several European countries to discuss market development, products, services and the company’s local operations.
Participants acknowledged improvements in Zoomlion’s product quality and technology while highlighting the importance of strong long-term service support, better spare parts availability and a wider product range. Zoomlion Chairman and CEO Zhan Chunxin said Europe remains an important market for the company and that Zoomlion is committed to strengthening its long-term presence across the region.
As part of its plans, the company will further develop its European spare parts and service networks. The aim is to improve response times and ensure better availability of parts for customers operating Zoomlion equipment. The company is also developing a customer-focused digital service platform. The system is expected to automatically assign service tasks and track them through the service process. Customers will be able to access information related to their equipment, spare parts and service requirements more easily.
Zoomlion also plans to introduce additional products and technologies to meet the changing needs of European customers. On August 25, Zhan Chunxin visited the production and research facilities of m-tec, Zoomlion’s German subsidiary. During the visit, he reviewed the company’s operations and technology development work, including research and applications related to 3D printing.
m-tec has been part of the Zoomlion Group since 2014. The company has expertise in dry-mix mortar machinery and building materials and has worked with Zoomlion on technology, product and market development. Zoomlion plans to continue supporting m-tec through the group’s global market reach, research and development capabilities and financial resources. The company also aims to increase cooperation between its European operations and global business units.
Zoomlion has already developed sales, service, financing and manufacturing capabilities in several European markets. Its local production network includes CIFA in Italy, m-tec, WILBERT and RABE in Germany, as well as an aerial work platform factory in Hungary. The company’s European operations bring manufacturing, engineering expertise, local talent and customer support closer to key markets.
Going forward, Zoomlion plans to combine its global resources with its growing local presence to improve customer service and support long-term business growth in Europe. The company believes that strengthening local manufacturing, service and technology capabilities will help it respond more effectively to customer requirements while building stronger relationships with European partners and markets.
