Wipro Hydraulics, a business unit of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (WIN), today celebrates its 50th year since being founded in Bengaluru in 1976. Over five decades of investment in product development, technology and customer partnerships have established the company as one of the largest independent manufacturers of hydraulic cylinders worldwide. At EXCON 2025, Wipro Hydraulics will present its latest product innovations and engage with customers, partners and industry stakeholders.

Operating within WIN’s diversified portfolio — which includes Hydraulics, Automation Solutions, Aerospace, Water Treatment, Additive Manufacturing and Electronic Materials — Wipro Hydraulics benefits from a global footprint of 33 advanced facilities across four continents. WIN is on course to achieve revenues of ₹10,000 crore by the close of FY2025–26.

Wipro Hydraulics itself runs sixteen manufacturing plants and four technology centres globally, producing more than one million custom cylinders each year for OEMs in construction, earthmoving, material handling, forestry, agriculture, mining, snow management and truck tipping. Its precision solutions support critical infrastructure and industrial applications across India, Europe and the Americas.

Pratik Kumar, CEO of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, said this milestone reflects decades of engineering excellence and trusted customer relationships. Sitaram Ganeshan, President of Wipro Hydraulics, noted that the business now derives roughly 70% of sales from markets outside India and remains committed to delivering high-performance, reliable hydraulic solutions.

The company has strengthened capabilities through recent strategic moves, including the 2024 acquisitions of Mailhot Industries and JARP in North America and Columbus Hydraulics in the US, and the launch of a technologically advanced plant in Jaipur the same year. Wipro Hydraulics continues to invest in next-generation designs and deploy AI/ML tools to boost responsiveness, quality and productivity.

At EXCON 2025, the company will showcase a broad range of cylinders and components — including sensor-enabled products and models for skid steers, telehandlers, mini-excavators and three-way tippers — alongside TipMatix, its condition-based predictive maintenance solution for truck hydraulics. Wipro Hydraulics reaffirms its purpose of transforming lives through engineering as it looks ahead to the next 50 years.
