Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited, the manufacturer behind electric vehicle brands ‘Joy e-bike’ and ‘Joy e-rik’, has ventured into fleet operations and last-mile delivery mobility. The company deployed its first batch of 100 electric two-wheelers in Hyderabad, marking a strategic move to provide sustainable, technology-driven solutions for delivery services. This initiative is a collaboration with SpeedforcEV under the brand Optimotion.
Unlike traditional fleet models, Wardwizard introduces a comprehensive approach to fleet management in India. The initiative includes vehicle supply, 24/7 maintenance, spare parts availability, charging infrastructure, financing, and insurance support through key partnerships. This holistic model aims to eliminate downtime, optimize vehicle usage, and enhance revenue potential for fleet operators. Key partners in this initiative include Bluebells for cashless insurance services, Mangalam Industrial Finance for financing, Ampvolts for charging stations, and SpeedforcEV for maintenance and spare parts.
Initially, 100 vehicles have been deployed for delivery partners such as Zomato, Swiggy, Flipkart, Amazon, and BigBasket. The company plans rapid expansion to other major cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Surat.
Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited, commented on the move, “This marks a significant milestone for India’s EV sector. We’re creating an end-to-end ecosystem to support fleet operations. Our partnerships with key industry players ensure businesses have a seamless experience, boosting vehicle uptime and revenue. We aim to deploy 8,000 vehicles by March 2025 and scale to 50,000 vehicles by March 2026, advancing our mission to drive EV adoption.”
Wardwizard’s fleet initiative offers a fully integrated smart mobility solution and aims to extend its partnerships across B2B, B2C, and retail sectors, solidifying its position in India’s growing electric mobility market. As a leading name in the EV sector under the ‘Joy e-bike’ and ‘Joy e-rik’ brands, Wardwizard continues to promote cleaner, greener alternatives to fuel-powered vehicles, with over 10 models in its portfolio and a presence in more than 400 cities across India.
