Vikram Solar secures Solar Module Supply Order from NTPC

Vikram Solar, announced on Friday that it has secured a significant order to supply solar modules for NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd’s Khavda project in Gujarat. The 397.7 MWp order will contribute to a substantial portion of the 1,255 MW Khavda Solar Project, reinforcing Vikram Solar’s role in India’s renewable energy expansion.

The project aligns with the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR), underscoring Vikram Solar’s commitment to supporting and advancing India’s domestic solar manufacturing capabilities. The DCR mandates the use of locally manufactured solar modules and components, which aims to boost the indigenous solar industry.
