VAYU, a new air compressor brand created for growing manufacturers, has launched its operations in India with a portfolio of compressors designed to meet the needs of small and mid-sized industrial businesses. The new brand enters the market with a 5–45 kW range of air compressors, available in fixed-speed and variable-speed configurations. The machines are designed for operating pressures between 7 and 12.5 bar and are supported by accessories, genuine spare parts, warranty coverage and service support across India.

The launch comes as India’s manufacturing sector continues to expand, with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises playing an important role in industrial activity. According to the Economic Survey 2025-26, MSMEs account for approximately 35.4% of India’s manufacturing output, 48.58% of exports and 31.1% of GDP.
