Turbostart, a Bengaluru-based venture capital fund and startup accelerator, has announced the inauguration of its new office in New Delhi, marking a major step in its mission to foster innovation across India. Since inception, Turbostart has backed over 50 early-stage and 10+ growth-stage startups, investing more than $35 million across multiple industries and technologies. The expansion strengthens its outreach in North India, a region now accounting for nearly one-third of the country’s emerging startup ventures.
The Delhi office will function as a strategic hub to identify and support high-potential startups while deepening partnerships with investors, corporates, and institutional stakeholders. Through this regional base, Turbostart plans to provide startups with access to its global network of mentors, strategic partners, and five specialized Centers of Excellence (CoEs) that focus on sector-specific growth and innovation.
“At Turbostart, we believe innovation flourishes at the crossroads of access, mentorship, and opportunity,” said Rajagopal Koushik, Founding Partner and CEO of Turbostart. “Our presence in Delhi enables us to connect with visionary founders and partners at the center of India’s entrepreneurial and policy ecosystem. This move reaffirms our long-term commitment to nurturing sustainable growth and driving nationwide impact.”
The Delhi office will also anchor the northern rollout of Ken42, Turbostart’s AI-powered operating system for higher education institutions. Led by Abhishek Sachar, the newly appointed CTO, Ken42 will collaborate with universities to digitize academic and operational processes. Additionally, TSquaredC, Turbostart’s largest CoE, will leverage the region’s deep talent pool in engineering and software development to accelerate product and technology innovation.
Piyush Arora, Head of Corporate Strategy and Investment at Turbostart, will oversee the Delhi operations. “Expanding into Delhi-NCR is a natural progression in our growth journey,” said Arora. “The region’s entrepreneurial strength and technological capabilities are exceptional, and we’re eager to convert that potential into tangible outcomes.” Arora also leads business expansion for ventures such as PiChain, an AI-driven vendor onboarding and compliance solution, while Dhruv Khandelwal heads Optimile, Turbostart’s logistics technology platform.
Turbostart has already established offices in Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Kolkata, with the latter—launched in June 2025 under Ramaprosad Ghosh—focused on strengthening sales and technology initiatives. The next phase of expansion includes Mumbai and Pune, both rapidly growing startup ecosystems.
Beyond India, Turbostart continues to build a global footprint with active operations in the United States and the Middle East, and plans to expand into the United Kingdom and Singapore. These efforts underscore its vision of creating a globally connected ecosystem that empowers early-stage entrepreneurs and drives innovation worldwide.
