Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited, a flagship company of the Adventz Group and one of India’s leading rail and infrastructure solution providers, has announced that it has secured two new wagon supply orders valued at approximately INR 1.26 billion from prominent logistics firms. The orders further strengthen Texmaco’s order book and reaffirm its strong position in India’s freight rail and rolling stock manufacturing sector.

The newly awarded contracts involve the design, manufacture, and supply of freight wagons tailored to meet the specific operational requirements of the logistics customers. These wagons will support the efficient transportation of bulk commodities and industrial goods, contributing to improved logistics efficiency and reduced transportation costs. Execution of the orders will be carried out at Texmaco’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, which are equipped with advanced production technologies and adhere to stringent quality and safety standards.

The orders come at a time when India’s logistics sector is witnessing rapid transformation, driven by infrastructure investments, the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) network, and government initiatives aimed at enhancing multimodal connectivity. Demand for modern, high-capacity freight wagons has been rising as logistics firms seek efficient, sustainable, and scalable transportation solutions. Texmaco’s extensive experience in wagon manufacturing positions it well to capitalize on these opportunities.

The freight wagons to be supplied under the contracts will be manufactured in compliance with Indian Railways and industry specifications, ensuring durability, safety, and optimal performance. Texmaco’s manufacturing processes emphasize precision engineering, rigorous quality checks, and timely delivery, enabling the company to meet customer expectations and project timelines effectively.

These new orders also highlight the growing participation of private logistics companies in rail-based freight movement, aligning with the government’s focus on increasing the modal share of rail in India’s logistics mix. Rail transport offers significant advantages in terms of lower carbon emissions, fuel efficiency, and the ability to move large volumes over long distances, supporting India’s sustainability and decarbonization goals.

With this order win, Texmaco continues to build momentum in its freight wagon business, supplementing its portfolio of projects for Indian Railways and private sector customers. The company maintains a strong focus on innovation, capacity expansion, and operational excellence to support long-term growth.

Looking ahead, Texmaco aims to further strengthen its presence in the wagon manufacturing and rail infrastructure segments by leveraging its engineering expertise, manufacturing scale, and customer-centric approach. The company remains optimistic about sustained demand from the logistics and freight sector, supported by policy reforms, infrastructure development, and the growing emphasis on efficient supply chains.

The successful securing of these INR 1.26 billion orders underscores Texmaco’s role as a trusted partner in India’s rail-based logistics ecosystem and reinforces its commitment to supporting the nation’s infrastructure and economic development.
