Established to facilitate sustainable development, TCP plays a crucial role in land-use planning, zoning, and infrastructure development.
The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) stands at the forefront of India’s sustainable construction and real estate sector. With a focus on energy efficiency, water conservation, and eco-friendly designs, IGBC provides certification systems, training, and advocacy to architects, builders, and developers.
Rajesh Naik, the Chief Town Planner, and Gurmit Singh Arora, Chairman of IGBC, formalized this partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including MLA Deviya Rane.
In an effort to propel sustainable urban development, the agreement signifies an alliance wherein both entities are dedicated to the integration of environmentally conscious principles into the formulation of development plans, policies, and programs in Goa.
In its capacity as a ‘Sustainability Partner,’ CII – IGBC is poised to assume a pivotal role in steering and executing environmentally conscious principles that are in harmony with the objective of fostering ecologically responsible urban development.
