Tata Power EZ Charge’s robust network includes charging points for passenger cars, buses, trucks, and fleets, strategically positioned across cities, residential societies, highways, and commercial hubs to alleviate range anxiety.
A key feature of the event was the company’s EZ Charge mobile app, designed to provide real-time updates on charger availability, locations, and session management, ensuring a user-friendly experience. Additionally, the introduction of RFID-enabled cards allows EV owners to charge their vehicles at any Tata Power outlet without relying on the mobile app, offering convenience and accessibility regardless of the EV brand. The exhibit also featured solar-powered chargers, fast-charging solutions, and AI-powered monitoring systems, highlighting Tata Power’s focus on innovation and sustainability.
With over 5,500 public chargers across 550 cities, 120,000+ home chargers, and 1,100 bus charging points, Tata Power EZ Charge has facilitated more than 165 million green kilometers, supporting India’s transition to clean mobility. The network includes chargers on major national highways, ensuring uninterrupted travel for EV users. Tata Power’s partnerships with leading OEMs like Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover have been instrumental in driving EV adoption. Looking ahead, the company plans to expand its network with high-speed chargers in metropolitan areas, rural regions, and tourist hotspots, aligning with India’s EV30@30 goals and the National Electric Mobility Mission Plan.
