Tallgrass and Bridger Pipeline LLC have announced a binding joint tariff open season to secure shipper commitments for crude oil transportation from Bridger’s North Dakota origins to destinations served by the Seahorse Pipeline system. The open season, offering incentive tariff rates on expansion capacity, commenced on February 24, 2026, and will remain open for 35 days.

The joint initiative is designed to assess market demand for additional takeaway capacity from the Bakken region. Total expansion capacity will be determined based on the volume of shipper commitments received during the open season. The coordinated approach allows producers and shippers to access an integrated transportation pathway connecting upstream production areas in North Dakota to downstream market destinations via the Bridger and Seahorse pipeline systems.

Seahorse Pipeline, LLC, operated by Tallgrass, will facilitate transportation to its designated delivery points, providing connectivity to key refining and export markets. By aligning expansion planning with firm shipper commitments, the carriers aim to ensure efficient capital deployment and market-responsive infrastructure development.

Tallgrass is a major infrastructure operator with large-scale, multi-commodity assets spanning 14 states. The company manages more than 10,000 miles of pipeline and related energy infrastructure, delivering crude oil, natural gas, and other energy products across key U.S. supply corridors. Its operations focus on safety, operational reliability, and long-term sustainability.

Bridger Pipeline LLC, headquartered in Casper, Wyoming, operates approximately 3,700 miles of crude oil pipelines across North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. The company plays a significant role in gathering and transporting crude production from the Bakken and surrounding regions.

The joint open season underscores continued investment in pipeline infrastructure to support evolving production levels in the Williston Basin. By offering incentive-based tariff structures and scalable expansion capacity, Tallgrass and Bridger aim to enhance transportation optionality for producers while strengthening connectivity between production hubs and end markets. Interested shippers are invited to participate within the 35-day open season window to secure transportation capacity under the proposed expansion framework.
