Suprajiv, an expert in Faculty Development, Behavioral, Soft -Skill, Quality and Technical training programs, is set to organize an online Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Training Program. This PoSH Training Program has been designed to empower the employees with Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Training. Hence, they extend their encouraging hands to the interested candidates to endorse to this PoSH Training to recieve legal acumen and transformative impact.
In response to the recommendations of the Justice Verma Committee of December 2013, the Government of India enacted the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace for Women Act, 2013. This pivotal legislation mandates organizations employing 10 or more individuals to implement measures preventing and addressing sexual harassment. To ensure effective compliance, organizations are required to establish an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and implement a robust communication system to address concerns related to the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act.
The upcoming online training program by Suprajiv, scheduled for December 21 and 22, 2023, aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills in line with the POSH Act. The training will cover various aspects, including: the Responsibilities of team leaders in the event of a sexual harassment incident, cooperation and coordination with the ICC during investigations, post-inquiry actions and measures, proactive team-building strategies to prevent unfortunate incidents, understanding the POSH Act, rights, and responsibilities of employees, practicing professionalism in the workplace, preparation of reports, including Complaints Management and Annual Reports and assisting the organization in developing the POSH Policy Manual.
To ensure effective learning, the program employs a diverse range of methodologies such as decision-making exercises, quizzes, and activities involving real-world examples or scenarios along with lecture sessions for in-depth understanding. There would also be group discussions to encourage shared insights and perspectives as well as case study presentations to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
The online program is structured to accommodate diverse schedules, offering two flexible time slots at a minimal cost. The program dates are December 21 and 22, 2023, with Batch 1 scheduled from 2:30 to 4:30 PM and Batch 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Individual participants are welcome at a fee of Rs. 525 per person. Additionally, there is a group discount available, reducing the cost to Rs. 485 per person for nominations of 10 individuals and above. Participants are requested to contact T. K.
